LOST

*yawn* I am feeling a little worn out from this mornings walk.. you see we had this big plan to go for a nice long walk and eat breakfast.. somewhere out in the wilderness. Little did I know that it would mean that Emma would get us lost! I blame Emma coz well I am shit with directions so she is always in charge of that side of things! It was pretty funny I must admit.. Emma ended up calling her parentals to ask them how we could get out of the area we ended up in and get on the right path home.. ahhh fun times! It ended up being over 15km that we walked this morning, so right now I am feeling a little wiped.. as is Nemo.. Although Emma can't be too wiped coz she is playing on the Wii.

All wasn't lost from being lost, coz well.. we got to see some pretty good stuffs. One being the mooo cows that came right up to the fence when they saw us coming and just stood there staring at us and if Emma took a step forward they would take a step backwards.. but if I took a step forward they would just stay there.. maybe I really am a cow? or maybe it was the fact they thought Emma was some kind of strange alien with the camera on her face.. anyways it was rather funny. They also seemed very interested in Nemo, Nemo wasn't so interested in them however. We had to walk back past them when we had to walk back coz we had reached a road that wasn't exactly safe to walk along but yeah they were kinda in the middle of the paddock and when they saw us.. they did what most cows do and ran over to us.. it was all very funny and totally made it worthwhile.

So much happened on the nice long walk.. like these two dogs.. one which was rather large and the other which was rather small were playing and then when they saw Nemo they both stopped in their tracks and so did we.. we continued walking as that was the best thing to do and thought that we should keep an eye on the big dog.. but noooo, we were totally wrong it was the little ankle biter that came after us yapping hardcore like he was some kind of giant.. it was rather amusing and it did seem to listen a little when Emma told it to go home.. it didn't exactly go home, but it did quieten down a bit and then I guess once we were out of site it went back home, when we walked back past trying to make our way back to real civilisation, they were no longer out.

While we were eating breakfast I got to witness a couple of birds fighting, it appeared that one had stolen from the other, which of course angered him and so I got a bird fight show, it was rather amusing. Emma also got to see a bird fight, at a different time to me however and different birds.. I guess something was in the air! Nemo started crying when Emma was witnessing her bird fight, coz she was going near the water and Nemo of course wanted to go in the water so he was feeling all left out! We Also saw some baby bird things.. I don't really know what they were but they were wicked cute and once again I just wanted to have them all to myself!! Yes I am indeed greedy!

Ummm more birds! We saw a woodpecker.. up close and nearly personal!!! It would be the first time I have ever actually got to see a woodpecker so close.. in great detail without it actually being a picture in a book, sadly however the camera didn't have enough battery.. nor the right lens to be able to get a decent shot.. but all in all it was pretty cool.. and really made getting a little lost all worthwhile! It is so handy when good things come of not so good things.. coz I can't really call it a bad thing coz it wasn't really bad.. ack you know what I mean! Another bird we.. arr.. heard coz we didn't see it.. was a cuckoo bird making it lovely cuckoo sound! It made us laugh a little and its nice to hear it not on a cartoon! haha

It also seems we have discovered a place that has zillions of dragonflies! They were all blue ones too, and kinda on the small side. It was very cool though.. they are such pretty little things, it is just a shame that they are so quick and scared of everything!! It made trying to take a pic a little difficult.. and it didn't help that Emma could barely see.. I just knew I should of told her to put eyes in this morning!!

Ummm what else was there.. oh yes horses.. we saw a few horses, there was this one couple which were having a cuddle, I would show you a pic but it might get classed as animal prOn and this is just totally unacceptable, but yeah they did look rather cute. I did however feel a little sad for the one who was standing by his lonesome and it made me want to give him my apple that I was going to eat for breakfast.. oh and speaking of apples.. and not exactly included in the lost entry and it was last night but still its very exciting(for me maybe).. I purchased apples that came from the apple orchard that I worked at! I got a little excited about it.. it was just nuts! What can I say.. small things excite me and that just reminded me a little of home. Ok now back to horses.. just down from the first horses we saw a horse who was all covered up, I am guessing he had some kind of skin condition maybe and wasn't allowed to have the flies on him? who knows.. but he didn't seem very happy and he made a little bit of noise but at least he had a friend who was in the same getup too so he didn't have to feel too lonely or silly.

As we were nearing the end of our journey we came across a sex house.. yes people thats right! A sex house! & it appears they really like to advertise it!

Giant Poppies! They are everywhere here.. you just can't seem to see the smaller ones anywhere.. but thats ok coz they are kinda cool, here's a nice pic that Emma took of one.. soo BIG!

Well I think that pretty much concludes my lost day, there were many things I saw and really enjoyed and I am sure I have missed some stuffs but all in all I think this is enough.. I shall also conclude my entry with a lovely pic of Nemo. Awww aint he cute?

Melting...

Fudge brownies it is so hot today! I feel like I am melting!! MELTING I say! I took Nemo for a walk and thought that I was just going to melt right into the footpath! I can only imagine how hot Nemo must have felt with being black in all.. poor little fella.. then when we got inside he drunk and drunk and then he drunk some more! He sure was thirsty!

Today I have been up and down the stairs doing washing.. and its a total hassle and I'm totally annoyed about the whole dryer situation.. but I shall remain clam for another week anyway. I really can't stand those stairs.. It's moments like these that I wished I lived on the bottom floor but in saying that I would hate being able to hear someone walking above me.. coz no doubt you would be able to coz this place you can hear everything.. EVERYTHING!

Nemo has been a sookie la la today.. I think Emma needs to give him some serious loves.. or maybe he is still feeling a little sad coz I laughed so much I got tears.. at him coz he wanted to come into the bedroom and the barrier was up! I am so eBil! But it was pure fun!

Ducklings Update: They made it to the pond. Emma and I saw them there last night when we took Nemo out for his walkies. It made me very happy to know that they had actualy made it.. coz I hadn't seen them the last couple of times I had been there. So total happiness that they made it.. and I can't wait for MORE! More I say! Ducklings are cute!

Friday again.. YaY! Another week down and the weekend rolls around AND it looks like its going to be a noice weekend!! I hope it doesn't go by too fast tho but no doubt it will! Dang nabbit!

Ducklings!!

Yesterday I saw my first ducklings! Well not my first ducklings ever but my first of this duckling season. I was walking home from walking Nemo and I saw MummaDuck out walking her babies.. they were SO cute! I wish they could stay ducklings forever and then I could keep them! but anyways it did worry me a bit coz they were so close to a main road.. but I think MummaDuck will get her babies to the pond.. I guess I will find out when I head that way for a walk this afternoon. It was about the only thing that made me smile yesterday as it appeared I was having a bad day. I even managed to burn myself on my finger tip.. coz I am a pure dope. It didn't hurt for long last night but then when I was cleaning up today and having to put my hand in hot water I found that it was starting to hurt all over again.. but now its fine so I am fine.

It also seems like the slugs are making there way back and I do hope this year Nemo doesn't track any in coz that is just pure GROSS! Especially when you find then all squished and pushed into corners!!! Ewww so gross! So yeah I don't wanna go through that again! Another thing that is making its way out are bunnies! Just this morning I saw 9 bunnies.. there was one set of 3 laying on the grass in the sun but the other 6 I saw bouncing around at different times. Bouncy Bouncy!

Last night Emma and I headed off to the movies to catch the new Indy flick..

'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'

Now that is a mouth in itself! I personally rather liked the film.. if you take it for what it is.. a fun adventure flick and not try to disect it so much that it ruins the enjoyment of it.. I have read a few reviews and it seems most people like to pick the shit out of the so called plot holes.. come on peoples.. its an indy flick.. like it could really happen anyways! All in all I really enjoyed the movie and I think it was done in true Indy style! Harrison Ford may be an oldie but he can still kick butt! lol

I am fast becoming a fan of Shia LaBeouf.. he is in Transformers.. which I LOVED! Transformers totally rock.. then and now! but anyways I have seen him in a few other things and I must say he always impresses me! I do now wonder if they have opened the door to more indy flicks as him as the leading man.. I guess only time will tell.

This morning was a BAD morning.. I just wanted to kick Nemo.. many times over! Firstly.. he sees a dead bird on the footpath and just when I think he isn't interested in it.. and really he is a dog, why would he be interested in a dead bird! but anyways he swings back around, mouth open and tries to grab it.. I did manage to stop him though so that was at least something.. I really do simply hate how much he tries to eat anything and everything he can that is on the ground! Drives me nutto! THEN after we have walked for a bit, he decides its time for number two's, which is all fine and dandy until he stands right in it and mushes it so much it was hard to pick up! I stood there and just went RAWR! at him and he looked up at me with this 'what?' look on his face! As we walked off I was muttering.. and so I tried to get him to walk through as much wet grass as possible.. but he still wanted to try and go under every single bush he could find! Which annoys me to no end.. especially coz he was bathed just the other day and he is already all dirty and sappy from trying to go under bushes! He is such a prick.. sometimes a lovable prick but a prick all the same! so anyways then we continue on our merry way when its the time again when he needs to piss and this time he pisses directly onto his front leg and paw, and it wasn't his usual dribble, it was like he had saved it up for a whole week! It was almost like he did it on purpose.. but he is a dog.. and they don't do that! or do they? Hmmmm. We managed to make it home and I was pissed off so I just dried him off and made him stay by the front door until he had dried fully.. I didn't want him to go and dirty his bed and I'm the boss or is that bitch? or is that both? anyways he HAS to listen to me!

Monday again.
I think Monday has to be my least favourite day of the week, it is more boring than any other day and it is soo long until the weekend starts! & Nemo ignores me more on a Monday, I think coz he is all sad that his Emma isn't home,, as I am.. I must admit I like it when Emma is home.. but then I do like my own time too.. who doesn't? Monday's seem to go much slower than any other day for me.. well it used to be different when I worked.. it was my busiest day.. every Tom, Dick & Harry would call up complaining but I was usually so rushed off my feet that before I knew it, it was home time and that is pure goodness!

Umm.. so Nemo had a bath yesterday and I was trying to record how spaz he goes after he has been dried.. but of course because I was recording him.. he opted to be a turd and do nothing funny! So typical!!! He makes me laugh so much with how he goes so crazy once he has finished.. he like all.. 'I MUST get all dirty again! Ewwwww@being clean!' LOL its very funny anyways.

Yesterday we also went around to the parentals for foodage.. I was a good girl and passed up on all the yummy things that I like, but in saying that I was very content in the foodage that I had for me.. although the MEAT was calling my name! It smelt so good.. I just love the smell of BBQed meat! mmm so yum! Me and BBQ's are bff's! hahahah

Ok, so I'm out walking Nemo this morning and I get stopped yet again by someone asking for directions.. but this time I could actually point them in the right direction. BUT then after they had walked away I started second guessing myself so I called Emma to make sure that I gave the right directions and it turned out that yes in fact I did.. so now I feel so proud that I was actually able to help someone and it was just as well that I was able to help her coz she told me the directions that someone else gave her and they told her to go left instead of right.. so today I am a HERO! hahaha Oh and speaking of directions.. yet again on the weekend we got stopped while walking Nemo and asked for directions.. this time I stayed away from the car coz people tend to direct the convo at me.. even though Emma is the only one who answers them.. people are weird like that.. but yeah Emma isn't much liking the getting stopped every weekend she is out with Nemo by lost peoples.. I think its funny! *nods*

I am unsure how I feel about this to be honest.. I more than likely wouldn't bother seeing it at the movies.. even though I just LOVE the big screen experience! I just don't get why some things just can't be left alone.. but hey.. I guess when there is money to be made, you gotta take total advantage of it. Money money money!

Yesterday was a pretty average sort of day.. did all the usual things. Emma headed off to a borthday party, which I opted not to go to so that I wouldn't be tempted by all the yummy foodage. I stayed home and hung with Nemo, but he seemed annoyed with me.. yet again! Once Emma got home we attempted to watch the Eurovision Song Contest.. for the last 2 years in a row I have fallen asleep half way through the actual singing part of it.. and this year was totally no different! Why should I break tradition I say! I just find it ever so boring.. most of the songs really don't entertain my me.. I didn't even stay awake long enough to hear Sweden's entry.. but thats ok coz I have heard it many times before! Emma was a little sad that she had to watch the rest of it herself.. so I have told her that next year she has to get George the bunny killer to come over and watch it with her.. we are just a small hop, skip and jump from where she lives... in... Australia! LOL She watches it you see so it would be perfect for Emma.. and I could just go to bed and sleep instead of getting a sore neck and back by falling asleep on the couch.. everyone wins!

The Clan!

Once agian Friday has come.. this week has gone by rather quickly.. maybe its coz I got to do something downright fun on Wednesday night.. I still think of the bit snad pieces from the show and have a little giggle. Damn it really was a good show.

So what is there to write about.. well I saw something funny.. or well it amused me anyway! I am out walking Nemo on his early morning walk, when I stumble across 4 hedgehogs in a circle like formation, with a bunny just sitting on the outside looking in. To me it looked like the hedgehogs were having a meeting about trying to decide if they were going to allow the bunny to join their little clan, well it could be a large clan and those 4 could just be the ring leaders, the ones who make all the decisions ya know! I guess if I see anything that has been murdered by a bunny, then I will know if the bunny actually got accepted into the little hedgehog clan, I guess you have to expland somehow with the death rate of both bunnies and hedgehogs alike.. and I think bunnies breed faster? lol

I really need to get my hands on a decent point and shoot camera to carry around with me for moments like these! I often see things and end up kicking myself coz I don't have a camera, I always thought that I didn't really need a camera on my phone.. now however I am starting to think otherwise! because nearly every damn day I am seeing something that I think.. "DAMN! I wish I had a camera!" but hey such is life! & at the end of the day I'm not so good at taking photos anyway.. or well mainly with the big fancy camera.. coz I don't know how to use it properly.

I love the feeling when I finish all my housework.. especially when it involves washing the floors.. I can't say that I enjoy washing the floors.. but I do LOVE being the first one to walk on the clean floors! It's my once a week treat! LOL but that is only as long as Nemo is sleeping! otherwise the little bugger beats me to it and runs all over the place like a hooligan! Today however Nemo was sleeping and so I got to walk around on my nice clean floors! Hip Hip Hooray!
I do now however feel like baking.. I have had this increasing urge to bake for a little while now.. so maybe this weekend I will break out my mad baker skills and bake some stuffs.. I can bake it.. I'm just not allowed to eat it.. for 4 weeks and 2 days! Yep I'm ever so excited about the fact that I will be able to eat tasty things.. I must admit.. yesterday I was a little cranky and annoyed all day and I think it has got alot to do with me craving sugar and the all important coffeeeeeeee!! Soon enough I keep telling myself.. and slowly but surely the date I can have a coffee and say a muffin or biscuit or just something nice is creeping up and up! Mmmmmm

Laugh a Minute!

Wow.. what a great night! Emma and I headed off to see 'The Umbilical Brothers' and it was sooo freaken good! Had a really good night and laughed so much that my face cheeks really hurt! Also laughed so much that my tingle ass cheek didn't get a chance to hurt! Bonus!!

Anyways had a really wicked night.. we arrived early of course.. one of the first peeps to arrive at the place.. so we decided to have a little drink.. and for the price of it it was little! AU$16 for one Jack Daniels and ginger ale!! and that was because they DIDN'T have Jim Beam.. my beverage of choice. What kind of bar doesn't have Jim Beam? Seriously?!?! Emma's drink was very nice tho.. she had a P2.. some sour sorta boozey drink.. which was also AU$16.. which makes me VERY glad that I am not a big drinker.. the odd drink here and there is fine and dandy.. so anyways having the drink killed a bit of time as we sat and watched peoples start rolling on in.. it was a rather mixed sort of crowd thats for sure.

Once it was finally time to go in and take our seats.. the place filled up rather quickly.. and then I started to smell.. of all things... PlayDough! I couldn't pick where it was coming from.. and then the lady next to me made an adjustment in her seat and I got a VERY strong hit of it! Gross! She was rather annoying to sit next to and that just took the cake. As soon as the show started I discovered that she was a screamer! I understand laughing loudly.. hey and thats cool.. but screaming? come on thats a little over the top! don't you think? But that was NOT all! Throughout the whole show she would keep repeating little one liners that the duo was saying and thinking she was freaken hilarious.. I tell ya.. she made me want to go to all the trouble of taking my boot off and then taking my sock off.. and you know it would be a hard task all cramped in the little seat with like next to nothing leg room! but anyways yeah she made me want to go to all that trouble and take my dirty sock and shove it in her mouth! Just so that she would STOP! Luckily with my old age I have discovered some restraint! & afterall she was pregnant and you can't be doing mean things to pregnant ladies.

All in all I didn't really let her get to me too much.. the show was too good for that and there were so many things I just loved about it.. Emma loved Timmy, the 4yr old and I must admit I found him rather amusing.. but I think Roadie! was my fave.. he rocked!! and he kept shooting down Timmy's balloon so that Dave would have to come to Timmy's rescue! Oh and I loved his relationships that he had with both Dave and Shaun.. ahh I mean Shane! hahaha Go see the show and you will get that!! classic! Go Tina! It was a great show from start to finish and I would totally go and see them again.. and I would totally recommend to go and see them if you already haven't.. and if you already have.. go see them again coz you KNOW its a great show! Laugh a Minute! Here's Roadie! or maybe its Roady? Hmm I just don't know.. I think I like the look of Roadie!

Ok so I left out something from yesterday's post and Emma came home and kicked me in the shins about it.. ok so she didn't really kick me in the shin.. it was just a verbal shin kicking.. so here it is...

On Saturday when I was out walking Nemo alone.. I was stopped by people in a car as they wanted some directions, they had a map. They pull up beside me and roll the window down and at this point I'm thinking.. FUCK not again! (I often get stopped and asked for directions and even when I am with Emma people tend to direct the questions at ME!) so I politely say.. "Sorry I don't speak swedish" as this usually scares people off and I usually just get some sort of grunt from them.. but no these people were not afraid of the big bad english language and put the map away, coz I guess they figured I wouldn't know anything on it.. the lady then proceeded to ask me where Hässleholm's garden is.. I give an extremely puzzled look and said.. "I'm sorry but I didn't even know that they had one here" we all did a little laugh, they said thanks anyway and drove off.. I thought nothing of it until I was telling Emma about it and she started laughing coz what they had done was translate the name 'Hässleholmsgården' to Hässleholm's garden.. which wasn't exactly a garden.. which is why I got confuzzled! Emma thinks that they were going to the dog show or something that was being held there.. it was rather amusing all the same and that is the end of that little story.

But moving along to Nemo the model! Yesterday Emma had to take some pics of one of our suitcases so her mum could see it, coz she wanted to use it.. and so she used Nemo as the reference so that she could see better the actual size of it.. maybe we should have put him in it? LOL You would be surprised at how much one can actually fit in it to be honest.. I think it was the best going away present from a job I have ever got.. actually I think it was the ONLY one! hahaha but still its very handy indeed.. so anyways here is Nemo doing his model thing!!

Anyways... the weekend came.. and it went and all in all it was over and done with so far I was left saddened! Friday night was rather boring.. the tingling in my ass got so bad that I had to stop playing Yahoo Pool and go and watch a flick.. which wasn't all that great until I decided enough was enough and headed off to bed.. with Nemo in tow.. and he even jumped up on the bed! He tried to make himself comfy where Emma would usually sleep but I kecked him off.. he KNOWS he is not allowed on the bed.. no exceptions! I guess he really missed Emma. Speaking of Emma.. she didn't come home drunk so she didn't get banished to the couch.. lucky her aye? lol

Saturday was a day of.. pretty much nothing.. we had a little look around town, which was once again rather unexciting. Emma gave Nemo a bath, which of course he was less than thrilled about. Watched a flick.. 'Underdog' which was funny in its own right.. the thing that made me laugh the most was when Emma said about half way through the movie "Yeah Right!" when Underdog took his love interest for a fly around by just touching her paw.. I was like.. of all the things that have happened in this movie this is the bit where you go Yeah Right? LOL it thoroughly amused me.

Sunday.. Emma was up early and off to the gym while I took Nemo for a walk.. where he shat on himself so when he got home I have to rinse him off.. which I was less than thrilled about! Then we did the fun foodage shopping and I must admit I am craving some sugary treats.. but I am good and refrained from it, after all I am doing rather well and have lost another 2.3kg. YaY! 3 weeks down and 5 to go.. however I wish it was 7 weeks down and 1 to go! LOL
We also went and watched a friend run a race.. I think Nemo loved being around many people and sniffing things and dogs.. however he doesn't much like Dizzy.. she seems to scare him.. ALOT! Poor little old fella he is!
We watched another movie called 'Charlie Wilson's War' which was a little slow but it was still good.. the story is a good one. I have been meaning to watch it for months.. so I'm glad its outta the way now.

There was a cold breeze for pretty much the whole day yesterday.. I needed to wear my jacket.. but I was still in shorts.. coz I'm good like that but this morning.. by jingo's! it was CHILLY! I had to wear a jumper, a jacket and my beanie! and I was still a little cold.. but then after about 15mins of solid walking I warmed up enough so that I wouldn't fall to the ground and freeze to death and this morning it was soo foggy! There is meant to be rain today.. but so far I see blue skies and sunshine.. so who the eff knows! Crazy Swedish weather!

Finally Friday!

Finally Friday actually rolled around.. and to be honest I don't know why I wanted it so badly when it was going to be the day that I spent competely ALONE! You see Emma has her summer work party to attend and wont be home until early hours of the morning.. hopefully she doesn't come home drunk.. otherwise the couch has her name on it! Am I really that mean? You BetCha! LOL

So today has pretty much been a bore.. the weather was nice, I cleaned up and did the annoying task of washing.. sometimes I really just don't feel like going up and down those bloody stairs and not to mention having to deal with other peoples freaken LINT!! My butt cheek annoyed me and it makes me want to chop it off! I played some Yahoo Pool and was having an off day coz I kept sinking the black and white balls or when I was actually meant to sink the black I would sink the white along with it! It left me rather annoyed! I guess really you could say I spent my day annoyed and bored.. sounds like fun aye? I know you are SO jealous!

Nemo had a slightly better day.. you see it was his birthday yesterday and Emma and I toddled off to get him a bone.. but it was too late for him to eat by the time he got home so we put it away and I gave it to him today.. his eyes were so big when I gave it to him and he had this look on his face that said.. REALLY? Can I really eat it? and then he got stuck into it! At one point he seemed to be having a little trouble with it and just stopped chewing at it and gave it the death stare for about a minute and then got stuck into it again.. it made me laugh rather hard, he is such an amusing dog.. at least I have him to entertain me at times.. although right now he is sleeping and dreaming.. making his little barky noises, which is a form of entertainment but not really what I am after.

Once again I nearly got hit by a car while crossing the road ON an actual crossing! This time it was an old man in a big flash car who was speeding.. and then he looked at me like I was in the wrong.. so I of course flipped him off and gave him the best evil look I could muster as I was already half way across the crossing when he came speeding on by.. so in fact I was in the right and plus cars have to stop for pedestrians. Drivers drive me totally insane here.. actually I think they drive me insane everywhere. Lets face it.. the human race drives me insane! LOL

So yesterday Emma and I booked and paid for our flight to Boston.. and now all we have to do is come up with loads of fun things to do while we are there. We are gonna head off to NYC for a night and maybe go to Montreal.. I hope we do.. I would like to see as much as possible considering I haven't been that way ever before.. should be fun fun FUN! I guess a lot will depend on dosh and how much we have.. either way I am sure we will have a great time and I am looking forward to going to an english speaking country! I am also looking forward to T.G.I.F! and donuts! and bagels! and REESE'S PEANUT BUTTER PUFFS! o my goodness! I can't wait for all the yummy stuffs and new views! Nothing like a good change of scenery to lift ones spirits! Emma is looking forward more to just shopping in general I think and we will finally be able to buy an english keyboard! Now that is exciting! Yes I know the small things excite me! Many many things are exciting thats for sure!

This week so far the weather hasn't been as nice as it has been.. but its still sunny.. there is just a bit more of a chill in the air now and we are back to sleeping with a blanket rather than a sheet.. but all is good.. at least its still sunny! and I can still have the balcony door open which is nice... noisy but nice! lol Its still happy weather and thats the main thing.

This week I have found that I am a little lost on what day it is.. its only early in the week and even on Monday I found myself wishing it was Friday and I think that screwed me up.. coz yesterday didn't feel like a Tuesday at all.. and today doesn't much feel like a Wednesday.. I am still wishing it was Friday too. The days blend so much and time seems to fly on by in the blink of an eye and its just not cool.

Another thing that is not cool is how much bad news there is out there.. I find myself not wanting to read the news coz quite frankly it is just full of bad shyte.. wheres all the good and happy news stories? Wheres all the things that happen that make me happy to be alive? Where does the good go? & now I really have nothing more to say...

Will Power!

The weekends come and go ever so quickly. Sometimes I wish Emma had 3 day weekends.. coz an extra day with her home would be nice.. especially when the weather is so very nice.. like it was this weekend just gone. The weather has been really amazing.. and I know I go on about it a lot.. but it really does seem like we went to sleep in cold sweden and woke up in some strange warm land.. we are sleeping under a sheet.. that's like australian weather! lol We didn't do too much over the weekend.. even though it was so nice.. it was too hot to be dragging Nemo around anywhere and it wouldn't have been nice to leave him home alone ALL day. See we really do love him even though he is a little bastard! He is our little bastard!

I gave him a bath on Friday coz he was a bit on the stinky side and on his first walk after the bath and the very first piss that he does.. he does it right on his front paw.. which made me want to take him home and wash him all over again.. but I didn't.. instead I just shrugged it off coz he is eventually going to piss on himself anyway.. it seems it is what he does best! But it sure was nice to have a fresh smelly dog for at least a couple of hours! Yep he really is our little bastard!

Now I'm into week 3 of the LCD and I haven't slipped up once and I am rather impressed with myself and I have managed to get rid of a few more kg's which is always a nice bonus. I can't say that it is getting easier though, coz I really have been craving some good ole chocolate.. and it doesn't help that there is some in the fridge AND its TIM TAMS! but in saying that I like having it there to help give me the will power! Will Power for the WIN! lol 2 weeks down.. 6 to go!

Right now I smell pot.. I think someone is either smoking a doobie outside and its blowing in or someone is in the stairwell doing it.. its rather a strong smell. It has been a long time since I smelt that.. and I can say I still don't much care for it. I never did like the smell or the taste when I was a doobie smoker.

Well I don't really have much more to say.. not a lot has been happening as of late.. pretty boring I know.. I have barely seen anything funny while out on my walks too.. although I did manage to actually see an unflattened hedgehog on my walk this morning.. Nemo was rather interested in it.. but didn't try to chase it or anything.. I think it was coz it walked right in front of him and then he stood there and watched it walk off into the distance.. it was very cute. Hedgehogs are very cute.. just a shame that they aren't cuddly.

I believe I am being spoilt with all this nice weather, today and at this moment it is 25degrees outside.. each and everyday I look out and am ever so happy to have blue skies and sunshine and it not still be coldish and windy! I have been able to have the balcony door open.. which I must say is a little noisy from all the cars and people below.. but it kind of makes me feel more alive and every now and then a fly or two will come in and the odd wasp and I get to chase them with a fly swatter until I get them or they fly out the door again.. most of the time they opt to fly out.. Nemo even took a stab at chasing a fly today. It was a rather large one and he buzzed right in front of him and he shot up and snapped at it and then he chased it a little before it flew out the door and then he looked at me all chuffed like.. it was VERY cute. He starts barking and gets all worried usually when he sees me swinging a red fly swatter around.. it is all rather amusing and adds little bits of entertainment to my day of not much entertainment.

This mornings walk was rather nice.. Nemo decided he would run through some grass that had those things in them.. which I can't for the life of me remember the name of.. but when I was a kid I would make a wish and then blow on it and all the little seeds that had the white stuff on it would fly away.. well those.. and he thought it was great fun and got a bunch on his face.. as you can see from the picture below!
He wasn't impressed with me for taking a pic.. sometimes he can be so shy! lol

Longen!

The weekend was nice, warmish and relaxing.. short walks with Nemo coz he still wasn't 100% and sunshine and movies! We watched a couple of flicks.. one was rather whack.. A Dog's Breakfast. That is really all I can say about it.. it was whack.. funny whack. The other one.. Lions for Lambs.. it was ok.

So to try and get Nemo on the mend, we had to put a little bit of oil in with his kibble.. which as it turns out he REALLY likes! He liked it so much that I caught him spitting out the bits of kibble that didn't have enough oil on them and then on Sunday when we were trying his breakfast with no oil.. I put his food down and he looks up at me with the WTF? look on his face like I was ripping him off! He eventually went and ate some of it.. but not all. Same thing at dinner time.. now he is a little better.. but I still think he wants the oil! He is such a funny dog!

Emma and the Wich!
So yesterday I go to meet Emma at the station coz we have to go and buy a couple of things.. well don't really have to but its best to get things out of the way when you think of them.. anyways so she gets off the train and she shows me a wrapper for a new ice cream that she tried! And you see Emma just had to try it instead of waiting for me on the slim chance that it wont be around when I am able to have such things again! Coz really its best that at least one of us got to try something so tasty right? Anyways it was... Ben & Jerry's ice cream cookie sandwich! Chewy Cholate Chunk Cookies with Vanilla & Chocolatey Chip Ice Cream! is what it says on the wrapper.. it just LOOKS delish! and from what Emma said.. it tasted DELISH! too.. and of course coz I am being a good girl and I have gone on a Liver Cleansing Diet I am not allowed such treats! Today she has left the wrapper on the kitchen table.. I guess just to rub it in a little bit more! I tells ya yesterday it got my mouth watering and today it is doing the same.. and it is a good thing that I can't just go out and buy one.. coz I doubt they are on sale anywhere around here.. I so can't wait until my LCD finishes!

Now here is something that I didn't plan so well.. so the LCD is 8 weeks long right.. and I have been on it a week already and it finishes on the 22nd June (can start eating semi normally on the 23rd) and the big massive wonderful midsummer feast is on the 20th! I feel ever so ripped off and it is the one thing over here that I really REALLY look forward to! So silly I is! but hey its not the end of the world I guess.. just a little gutting. My own fault but lets just blame Emma coz thats more fun!

All in all though my first week on the LCD went rather well and I was really good.. coz at the end of the day there is no point in mucking up coz then I have to start the 8 weeks all over again and that would really blow! I don't really feel any different yet but then its only been a week.. I piss a lot more and thats a bit annoying.. but them the breaks.

Umm what else is there.. oh lately I have noticed that people are turning the light on in the stairwell during the day.. when it is bright.. and its not like the stairwell is dark.. you can see.. you can see easily.. there are plenty of windows.. it makes me wonder how light exactly it has to be for them to not turn the light on or maybe it is just that they dont care coz they dont pay for the power it uses themselves and they are just morons.. well they are indeed morons.. that is really a given.. we have established this a long time ago. Speaking of morons.. it appears that with the nicer weather now comes the much louder crappier music to be blasted when it is bedtime.. it makes me wonder which I prefer.. dark and gloomy or bright and rowdy.. I might have to get back to you on that one.. I think maybe I just need to live on an island all by myself.. then I would probably find the wildlife too loud! LOL

So last night I'm cooking dinner and I can smell this really horrid smell like something was burning but not a normal kind of burning smell.. I didn't think too hard about it and thought maybe there was something on the element coz I was only using the one element and then after a good maybe 20mins I notice a little bit of smoke coming from the pot lid that I had set down on what I thought was an off element.. I gave it a look and without thinking just picked it up and of course it was HOT coz the element had been on for gawd knows how long.. I have no idea when I possibly could have turned it on.. but I must have coz I was the only one in the kitchen.. so yeah I pick it up and it was hot so then I fumble with it a little before it crashes down into the sink and smashes into little pieces. I figure I may as well run cold water on it now so I can cool it off coz it cant get any worse. So now I am without a lid to the big pot and it pisses me right off! But once again I only have me to blame. Now the place has this odd smell to it which I can't quite put my finger on.. its not the normal burnt plasticy sort of smell. Dinner was nice at least!

Today is such a beautiful day.. its almost like we woke up somewhere other than Sweden! lol Nemo has been out on the balcony for some of the day but I think the little bit of wind that rips through makes him cold so he comes inside for a bit and then heads on back out there when he feels the need. I often wish we had a much bigger balcony.. but hey it is better than having no balcony at all. I think I just want to live in a house.. with a yard and maybe a garden and of course a spunky BBQ! Coz who doesn't love BBQ's! Not one of those fake ass gas bbq's either.. a proper coal bbq to get that real bbq taste! Mmmm tasty!

And I think that shall be the end of our time today as this is long enough.

Poor Nemo!

Well day 2 of May didn't go down so well.. I got woken up to Nemo being crazy in his room so after 5mins of hearing it I decided enough was enough and I should get up and coz maybe he needs to pee. When I opened the door to his room he walked out all odd like so I sat on the couch and called him up but he refused which is VERY unlike Nemo as he loves to be on the couch.. Hmm I went and went off and got ready.. then going down the stairs he acted a little oddly and then once we were out there he pissed and pissed and pissed and then he pissed a little more and then I figured we would go for a little walk but he wanted none of that and stood his ground.. so I let him lead the way and he went to the front steps and went up and then once we got inside the building he sat at the bootom of the stairwell and just looked up at me like "theres no way I can make it all the way up there!" so I was a good mummy and picked him up and off we went.

Once we were inside Nemo seemed to get worse as the time went by and he started drooling A.L.O.T. and moving even less. Emma called the vet and they said to bring him in.. but you had to call before bringing him anyways so yeah.. Emma's dad came and checked on him and of course he was starting to feel a little better by then coz thats the way things roll in this house! Then Emma's mum came and took Emma and Nemo to the vet for the appointment.

Time passes and I make myself busy at home waiting to hear something, Emma gives me a call to say that everythings fine and that theres nothing serious wrong with him and that maybe it was just a tummy ache and constipation.

Emma, her mum and I were meant to go into Mamlö but with Nemo not feeling 100% I thought I should stay home with him and just make sure he was going to be ok.. yes I am nice sometimes! So off Emma went with her mum for a day of shopping.. so really I wasn't missing out on much coz me and shopping don't go all that well together.. so while Emma was off spending dosh, Nemo and I were hanging out.. or well I was manly hanging out with myself and he was hanging out with himself.. he seemed a little pissed that they left without him and growled at me.. like I made them go away! so yeah he went off and slept in the dark room.. I checked on him every now and then to get growled at.. and then we went for a couple of little walks and sat in the sun at the park for a little bit which Nemo seemed to enjoy and now he seems to be much happier and much more active.. altho I think he is back in the room again after having his dinner.. typical really but hey whatever makes him happy!

Actually I think I might head off and make me some dinner! So yeah not really a great day but weather wise it was BEAUTIFUL! I'm so loving the nice weather! Even though it rained yesterday.. you would never have guessed! Oh happy days!

Well yet another month has whizzed on by and we are into May.. soon enough half the year will have gone and then in the next blink it will be christmas and then we can really really stress! lol

So far this month.. the whole few hours that I have been up and about.. I have walked Nemo, taken breakfast around to the parentals, laughed as Emma's dad took a drink of his tea without realising that there was no sugar in it.. and he has a wicked sweet tooth! Also laughed and watched as Emma made her tea come out her nose from laughing at her dad! Now that was a sight indeed.. I'm not sure what was funnier.. Emma's nose/tea accident or Emma's dad drinking some of his tea with no sugar.. actually I think the combo of the two made it priceless! Laughed a little more as I watched Emma dancing with Polly the bitchy bird who HATES me.. although it was on the cute side, harrassed some little punks who were trying to re-start the bonfire from last night.. they see us coming.. they run away.. it was a lot of fun and made me feel like a kid again.. eventually we decided enough was enough and headed on home. Cooked foodage, sometimes I really get sick of cooking but luckily I am good at it! Rubbed in Emma's face via sms.. which she hasn't got yet coz she left her phone at home.. umm as I was saying rubbed in Emma's face that the bakery is in fact open on Sunday bloody Sunday!

And now here I am.. pretty non-eventful but eventful day and its raining. Ick!

One thing I would like to say is I am VERY disappointed that the Official New Zealand Olympic Uniform includes CROCS! Seriously.. they are not THAT funky! *shakes head*
