Forgetful Corner!

I forgot to add this along the way..
Bruise is healing up all nice.. right?

Snow Corner!

Emma kept telling me off and telling me to be careful.. but you don't snow this fun all the time.. so you better make the most of it! It was great ball making snow.. so I made a few balls.. threw a few balls! It was heaps of fun!

Nemo really enjoyed eating the snow.. taking big bites out of it! He thought he was in heaven!

There was so much snow still flying around that you got a really awesome effect when you attempted to take a pic.. with the flash on! I mean how choice is this pic of Em and Nem's standing in front of one of the church christmas trees.. even tho Nemo totally has devil spawn eyes! LOVE IT!

Great end to a great weekend.. we should really have more great weekends!

Christmas Corner!

Sunday morning.. with it being the first of advent, we had the fun task of decorating for xmas so up went that little knick-knacks.. curtains.. lights... candles and of course angry santa! My favourite!

We pretty much took it easy for the day.. Emma pissed off to the parentals to help her mum with her christmas decorations and then the snow really started to come on down..

So for Nemo's evening walk we both went along and had a little play in the snow!

Next part continues at Snow Corner!

BUT!..
I felt this photo was too adorable to not post somewhere.. so yeah.. look at them eyes!  That face! Nawwwwwww so cute!

Museum Corner!

So off we trekked to the Museum.. paid our dues and were let into enjoy the total deliciousness of a freshly baked wienerbröd! It was the first time I had had one of these magical things.. I usually don't much like the ones you get elsewhere.. but these were so frakking great! I enjoyed a second one on the way out too.. how could I not? You don't get to enjoy them every day and I'll prolly never have one again.. which thinking about that makes me kinda sad lol
We stood and watched them make them before getting in line to order one.. they had a sign up that you couldn't order more than 5 per person when we arrived.. and when we went to leave that went down to just 1 per person.. we weren't gone that long! I'm now getting a craving for another! Yum.. so yum! Look at these beauties!
With our warm pastry in hand.. we headed off into the Museum to check out all the cool old war time goodness!
Dude... you totally need a facelift!

There's always room for a little love in war..

WALL·E's long lost cousin perhaps?

Then we hit a massive line.. before being able to go into see the largest miniature display I have ever seen.. however I didn't even get to see it all coz
a) it wasn't actually finished and
b) people are pushy bastards who have no idea about personal space
Maybe we will have to go back and check it out when its all done and less packed.. I wonder if it will actually ever be less packed..

The plan was when we finished up at the museum we would catch some other little train thing back to town.. but having to wait 35mins in the snow seemed a little silly for a 5 min ride on the train.. no matter how choice it was.. so we opted to walk.. and off we toddled in the snow with the wind chilling us to the bone! I really do need to get my winter jacket sorted lol

We stumbled across Emma's parentals and they informed us that the other bakery had a different special treat for the 150yr celebration! Boy did we feel ripped off and apparently it was much nicer.. we tried to go and buy one on Sunday.. but they had sold out. BahHumBug! O well right?

Next part continues at Christmas Corner!

Train Corner!

Saturday morning we were up nice and early to head off to ride on a Steam Engine! Which like true public transport form.. it was late and then cancelled so we ended up going a different route.. it didn't really matter coz we weren't hopping off anywhere.. we were just enjoying the ride.. and it was quite enjoyable!

There was a man on there who had the best laugh ever.. he did this high pitched thing at the end.. it was pure awesome.. I wanted to record it but didn't think that would be a very polite thing to do lol

After an hour of sitting on the train..we finally got some movement.. and it was bouncy as. Emma said I looked like I was laughing with all my jiggling going on! I wanted her to try and record it.. but by the time she got organised I wasn't so jiggly lol It was lots of fun anyways.

We even had an old school conductor..
..who had been with the railway since 1952 (Emma correct in comments if I got the year wrong ok? lol) He was pretty funny.. I think he may have scarred one kid for life about going on trains tho lol and I especially liked it when he came in and rattled off some info, paused for a second and then went "Do you understand?" yes in English he did say it.. it was pretty ace anyways.. and random. I do like random.

After we finally got back to Hässleholm.. some 2 hours later than expected, we headed to the bakery to pick up the special bakery goody for the train celebration.. you see the train peeps were turning 150. So yeah.. any excuse to go to the bakery and I will take it! Even tho I make mighty fine baked goods.. I still enjoy the bakery.. anyways we picked up the.. turned out to be some type of cheesecake maybe? tropical in flavour.. it was actually very odd and I don't quite see how it ties in with the trains.. or winter for that matter.. or even Hässleholm! But we ate it and had coffee before heading off to the Military Museum!

Bruised Corner!

What a dark, wet and miserable weekend! Not to mention sore.. coz I am afterall so freaken awesome that I managed to fall down the stairs.. I am now sporting a lovely 22ish cm bruise just above my butt.. I'm looking forward to checking out the nifty colours that are gonna come through with it.. rock on bruise!

So as you could imagine my weekend consisted muchly of hanging out at home.. the usual really but this time I have a much better excuse to stay home lol Not that it really stopped me.. coz I'm choice! I really did just have a normal weekend with a few extra moans and groans.

With the horrible (yet pretty) snow on Friday.. I finally decided to get my hiking.. but I use them as winter boots out so that my foots stopped getting all wet and well the ground was wicked slippery.. and if I can't stay upright in a stairwell then I have no hope out of the wet paths! So yeah.. I broke them out and now I look kick ass in my boots! Don't mess with me!

Saturday arvo.. Em and I headed to go and see the first part of the last Harry Potter flick. I found myself very bored with it.. not that I am a huge HP fan or anything.. I just found it slow and unappealing. Well made with effects but that is really all the good I can say.. maybe it would have been better if I had of read the books.. who knows.. not me! Speaking of which.. I am gonna finally get started on my Dexter book..

Drunk Corner!

Another new week.. another fast week! It's all blending these days.. maybe it has something to do with the fact that it is always so damn dark outside these days.. or maybe I should say nights coz of all the darkness! However there is some light.. they have put up (should they really have I wonder?) the christmas decorations in town.. and so now when we look down from the church it looks like christmas in town. Christmas really is upon us. We are half way there with the gifts.. the ones going abroad are pretty much all ready to go.. by ready to go I mean semi packaged but not quite sealed.

The weekend was a reasonably quiet one.. it rained loads! I had a yummo cheesecake for Emma's ma's birthday dinner on Saturday night. I also got a little sloshed.. I kinda got boxed in the corner so all I could do was drink up! It was quite fun anyways.. especially when I hadn't been following the convo and they get me to touch Sebastian's wrist which has a little workshop inside hammering and vibrating away.. I got the shock of my life.. jumped and made a rather embarrassing 'omg'. The vibrations gave me quite the shock.. not at all what I was expecting but in saying that I had no idea what to expect.. that will teach me to not follow the convo right?

Here's a delightful pic of me with some drunk eyes while hanging in the bathroom.. chatting to Emma while she tries to find the pesky Nemo hair that is stuck in her foot.. I just felt like this entry needed a photo and well this is the best I could do!

All in all though it was a good night, and it was kinda nice to have Nemo there and not have to rush home to deal with him.. however he is a little too happy to be there.. but hey it's always good being at nanny & pop's right? I'm looking forward to not having to rush off on christmas day.. as long as we get in first with asking if Nemo can come along.. *hint* @ Emma Bo Bemma!

Speaking of Nemo.. I just snapped this pic of him..
He really is a pillow-whore! If there is a pillow then he must lay on it!
I think he is sulking to get some cuddles.

What o what shall the week bring?

Funny Corner!

My weekend was a long weekend.. in the sense that Emma had the day off on Friday. We took that opportunity to head into the big bad city where immigrants are being shot by a crazed gunman! Yes we like to live on the edge! It makes for a good heart pumping! He has possibly been caught now.. Emma mentioned something of it yesterdayish. Anyways so we headed into Malmö for a look around and a bite to eat. We actually stumbled across The English Shop! I got way excited.. and we bought way too much 'junk' but hey.. you only live once right? & after all I could have been shot by that crazed gunman who was shooting immigrants! So I got some goodies and even had some Ribena.. it sure is funny the things you miss. Like Pies.. we opted to head home early and pick up a couple of pies to have at home instead of eating out.. I wasn't overly in the mood to eat mediocre food at a high price anyways.. gimme a pie (with tomato sauce of course) and a beer anyday! I really enjoyed it. Plus we had the added bonus of not being on a completely packed train on the way home too.. so all in all it was the better option.

We picked up a few christmas pressies.. so it was a pretty good day out really.. I even picked up a couple of bras for a decent price. As I was walking out of the store.. I turned to Emma and said.. "yeah I'm happy with that" and then turn my head again just as we walk past the rack I got my rack supporters from and saw an old lady holding up the bra I just bought.. to which I responded with.. "yeah I'm NOT so happy with that" But hey at the end of the day.. I guess every female and some males need bras. It was kinda funny tho.. had Em and I chuckling for a bit as we continued walking.

I enjoyed my Friday outing.. it has been months since I was last in that crazy land.. and hopefully gonna be months before I'm there again lol Altho with christmas fast approaching.. I am sure to head that way again for more christmas shopping.. which I hope to have all done by the end of the month. Fingers crossed right?

Nemo also enjoyed his day away from us.. coz he went to go and hang with Nanny & Pop! Once home however he was a little bit more sookielala than usual.. but hey you get that on the big jobs right? I wonder if we can convince them to have him for a night and then we can sleep in! Now that would be BLISS! However I doubt we would actually sleep in but we would just lounge in bed a little longer..

Saturday nothing was open.. some public holiday or something.. I don't keep up with this stuffs. I made a Lemon Cheesecake and we invited the parentals over for a slice. There we all are, sitting in the lounge and on the table is the Wii controller. Emma's dad looks at it and goes "is that a phone?" We all had a good little chuckle and Emma even picked it up and pretended to use it as a phone.. you know tho.. it would totally rock it out as one of those olden day phones where you have the ear and mouth piece like so [click me] but yeah.. it was a classic moment and cheek hurting from laughter moment.. pure awesome! Pure Funny!

Zombie Corner!

I really have no words for what Emma did to me in the iPhone zombie app.
I hate Zombies.
They freak me the fuck out.
And now I am one.
What does it mean?
There are no rainbows.

Cute Corner!

Lets enjoy some Nemo time, coz let's face it Nemo is pretty darn ace. On the weekend he got trimmed.. by Emma. As you can see he is quite sad about it..
..but now he is in his slimjim outfit.. I love how you can really see his 'colour' when he is all trimmed..

The best part of trimming him is.. when he goes all crazy after the bath! I tried to record it but once I started.. he of course stopped coz he really HATES the camera. Gutting really.. one of these days I'm gonna remember to set it up beforehand and have it recording from a stationary position and that way he wont bloody know.. altho in saying that he runs ALL over the place so maybe some of the goodness would get missed anyways.. If you are lucky BK.. you might get to experience it in the flesh when you are here.. in a little on 6 months! Goodness Gracious!

Yesterday I gave the little fella some very yummy for some curdled milk.. I don't like it but Emma and Nemo think it's the beezkneez! They both lick their chops when its around!
Nemo looks all adorable with a milky nose and beard.. right? Awww and look at those lashes!
And while we are on the topic of cuteness.. I'm gonna chuck in this photo looking all cute in his raincoat.. Aww bless!
