Brunch Me!

A good weekend was had, we headed off to Malmo on the Saturday for a look around town, only to discover that it was some food festival thingo so there was loads of food stuffs about the place.. we only bought a very large cheesey soft pretzel.. which wasn't all that grand but it was still good-ish. It was pretty packed.. with it being the first weekend after payday. People were out in full jerky force. Getting there on the train it seemed we stepped into the English speaking carriage.. coz for a moment there the English speakers were overshadowing the Swedish speakers.. it was kinda ace.. but yeah I wont spend yet another blog moaning about the poor transport service. After having a little looksie around.. at nothing in particular. After having a little looksie we headed off to the Terrarium where we saw a range of animals.. even Roo's!

We arrived and it appeared that a bunch of annoying brats had the same idea so they were there at the start in the doorway making loads of noise and wanting me to kick them in the shins.. however I was good and left the brats alone and proceeded to try and enjoy my time with the animals.. which was a little fun! At one point one of the cute little monkey's was intrigued by my.. or well Emma's plastic bag that I happened to be holding.. awww they were so very cute! I want one! or 20!

I do love seeing all these different animals.. but my heart strings are still pulled when I see them all in cages.. it was still good fun tho and I really enjoyed it. Been here over 3 years and I had no idea that it was even here.. how good am I? Go me! lol

Sunday was day of being treated by She-Ra! She decided it was about time she fattened me up and to do so she made me the biggest bested brunch ever! Wanna know what was on the menu? Firstly...

Muesli and Yoghurt
Scrambled eggs (onion, orange capsicum & fresh tomato)
Freshly baked bread rolls.. that she even baked all by herself from scratch!
American pancakes with maple syrup
Coffee AND orange juice

Simply freaken awesome it was! I wanted to video it all as she made things but of course She-Ra is all camera shy.. and now thinking about it I can't believe I didn't take a single photo of the finished spread.. luckily I have it marked down on the calendar to happen again on Sunday 29th November.. so if anyone is in the neighbourhood.. just pop on over and join us for the DeLish spread! hahaha

The rest of Sunday was spent taking it easy with our full bellies.. it was heaven! Pure bliss even! Or well inside it was.. outside it wasn;t so bliss like.. it was cold and a bit wet and just overall not the best day.. which only got worse yesterday when it basically pissed down all day.. like clockwork actually.. the day we are due to trim Nemo.. it ALWAYS rains! Ah well.. what can ya do? Plus today is much nicer.. still cold out there.. actually it was much colder than I thought it was going to be and I totally regretted not wearing a thicker jacket when taking Nemo on his lunchtime walkies.. I got cold and walking faster didn't even warm me up!

O how embarrassment!

My Thursday got even better.. I know you are thinking 'how could it, it was perfect already?' but seriously it got SO much better and also taught me that granny nappies are not just for.. well umm grannies!

Anyways last night, I was in the kitchen and I had a nice drink of water and filled up the water bottle before turning the light off and headed for the sitting room.. when She-Ra the lovely girl that she is.. jumps out from beside the door in the hall and scares the bejesus out of me.. I jumped and screamed a little.. it was totally school girl prissy too.. o how embarrassment! and then realised that I really needed to pee so quickly put the bottle down and ran off to the loo and here is where I discovered that granny nappies weren't just for grannies and I in fact should have been wearing some of said granny nappies! O how embarrassment! It was just a little but it was some.. I guess I am older than I thought.. next thing I know I will need to wear them to bed! Time to get serious with the pelvic floor exercises me thinks! Or is it tooo late?

Much laughter was had in this great o how embarrassment session.. afterall if you can't laugh about it.. you have to cry and I simply don't wanna! Plus it was just a little...

Then this morning.. I thought.. it's a new day.. it's a good day! But alas it did not start off so good.. and no I didn't piss the bed! I didn't wanna get up tho.. there are some mornings where you just wanna sleep sleeep sleeeeep! but I didn't.. I got up and I did my usual routine and then off we toddled to the station.. where She-Ra then tried to kill me! She went to kick my bum, sideon but apparently I was walking to fast so she missed it.. how she could miss my huge ass is beyond me but she did.. then clipped my calf as it was in motion, which pushed my toes into the pavement.. my already stapled toe at that! There was a little tumble but it was all aok! She-Ra also nearly took a tumble too and if it wasn't for her grabbing onto me then she would have kissed the pavement.. and all the while Nemo was none the wiser.

Seriously... A Staple?

When I'm out walking.. I strut my stuff...

and then I feel like a little freaken vampire has managed to get into my sandal and chomp on my beautiful.. ok maybe not beautiful but my big toe! I wiggle my toe and again I feel that little vampire bite down again! I think WTF to myself and remove my sandal to find.. a freaking staple! Seriously? Is this some kind of sick freaken joke? So there I am with a staple in my toe, on the footpath.. looking down in disbelief.. when Nemo the awesome little dog that he is.. cocks his leg and goes to piss on my stapled toe.. Seriously? Am I on candid fucking camera or something? I shuffle away and shove Nemo and tell him off and he looks up at me with his puppy eyes, then I steady myself and remove the freaken staple and watch the pinhead of blood form.. then dry before placing my darling foot back into my sandal and continue on with my lovely walk.. which got even better as the skies opened and it pissed down hardcore upon me and now as I sit here and type this the sun is shining and its starting to look o so lovely out there.

That is not the only wonderful thing that has happened to me today.. I also managed to splash hot oil on myself and burn my silky soft arm. I still have a bread to make.. I am unsure if it is safe to do so!

Our Little Nems!

Monday again.. what will the week bring? Hopefully something worthwhile.. but I doubt it as there is rain on the forecast.. but in saying that how often is the forecast right? maybe like 10% and I think I'm being generous there.. don't you? lol

The weather today is a bit of an alright.. cold but sunny, I'm sure it will warm up like the last couple of days as the day moves on.. yesterday it was pretty darn nice. It was so nice that Nemo would lay on the couch.. and long to go outside...

Nemo's favourite place on the couch seems to be right on the edge and no matter what he will always squeeze himself in there.. even if it means that his head falls off when sleeping.. which is what happened here.. his head was tucked in nice.. but then it slowly started to shift.. until his heavy head dropped and he pulled the evil eye at She-Ra with the camera..Mighty unimpressed he was. Nemo is the only dog I know who has a hate towards the camera, it is actually rather amusing.. Emma was trying to record him yesterday and he just simply refused to look at the camera.. and here in this video of his morning roll [watch video] you see when he is finished and see's that the camera is on him.. his tail stops wagging! LOL He really is one of a kind.. our little Nems!

Just Not Getting It!

This week seems to have flown on by.. I'm a little shocked it's Thursday and I have no idea where my week has gone.. chalk another week up to the week stealing fairies!

A little something so very funny did happen last night and it goes a little something like this.. and no this is not where I start to breakdance!
So anyways.. She-Ra and I were on the couch watching Top Chef, it was the French ep so the dude was speaking in French and he was subtitled in English.. coz we weren't watching Swedish TV.. anyways he said a very french "masqué" and Emma read the subtitles and went.. "MaSked.. Ah what is Em Aye Ess Key Eee Dee?" and I looked at her and went "Masked" o_O and then a very loud and large amount of laughter came a rollin from within. I also laughed so much that tears formed. I must say I do love those moments! They don't happen nearly enough though. Thanks She-Ra for my first real good laugh of the week!

So on a completely different note.. the cold mornings are really starting to kick in, I was a clever little chicken this morning and wore just my sandals.. which made my little tootsierolls cold.. soon enough winter will be upon us and then the sludge will come and I will start falling on my ass.. the yearly tradition! Maybe though.. just maybe I might be able to stay on my feet if I wear my overpriced hiking boots.. I shall keep you posted... maybe *wink*

Sooo.. it seems my dear bunnie killing friend Georg is out doing me in the blogging department so I figured I better up my game, seeing as it has been nearly a week since my last anything.. and while I am at it.. tease her with some delish Lemon Meringue Pie! Coz I am that kind of friend! lol

Like I said it has been nearly a week since I woke up with the coolest hair ever and decided that was my blog.. lately I have not had such cool hair in the mornings.. which is a little disappointing.. for not only me.. but I know for you also.

The week went by without so much as a flutter.. did I tell you at some stage a while back we had a butterfly in our room and Emma saved it? and by saved I mean she put it in a glass with a piece of paper covering the opening and chucked it out the window.. and then I proceeded to watch it flutter down to the ground in the most uncontrolled of fashions. I am sure it would of come right before hitting the ground.. it just needed to get it's bearings and noone was in the control center to give them right away. Highly amusing it was.

Anyways back to the week just gone.. well shit actually how about we just start with yesterday.. yesterday being Friday.. pretty average day I must say.. but I was a little naughty.. not really naughty as such.. I just hate my neighbours so much that I like to try and stuff them up any which way I can.. Ok so the story goes like this...
I am doing my washing, you have to book time to do washing and to book it you have to put your 'lock' into the time slot.. so for Friday there was ME 7-10am, then an empty slot 10-1, then my fucktard neighbours 1-5, then just someone else 5-9. Anyways, so I am doing my washing and my time finishes and I am finished.. I didn;t have much washing anyways which is nice.. I come out to remove my 'lock' to book a time for next friday when I notice that someone has shoved a piece of plasticy rubbish into the next time slot.. I ponder for a moment or two, put two and two together and I do infact get four.. so I pull out the rubbish and very happily insert my 'lock' into the following time slot and then proceed to take the key and all my completed washing upstairs with me. Just as I get half way up the first set of stairs past the fucktard neighbour, they come out with their washing and proceed to make their way downstairs to get started.. I let out a loud little chuckle.. coz I want them to hear it.. yes I hate them this much and it made me so very happy that I did infact get four in my additions! I so rock! For the next 3 hours I did wonder if they would have the balls to come and say something.. but really there was nothing that they could say.. because the fact of the matter is.. you can't book two slots in one go, and to book a slot you are to use the provided 'lock' and a plasticy bit of rubbish is not a 'lock'. I really do hate them. I really really do. Petty? maybe.. Satisfied? Hell yes! Small win for this flightless bird.

Ummm.. last night we headed off to the movies to see District 9 and I must say I did enjoy it from start to finish.. even if the alien speak was subtitled in swedish.. I do forget about that.. luckily I know enough to get by and the bits that I get stuck with.. Emma is there to be the superhero.. even tho she is more of a She-Ra than a caped crusader! haha However it did make me feel a little queazy with all the splatter but that was made up for when he threw a pig.. I was like.. did I seriously just see him throw a pig? hahaha ace!

Today Nemo was a little under the weather, not overly sure what was wrong with him but after a big snooze he seems to be feeling a little better.. I guess being 10 is getting the old fella down.
