Bloody Hooligan!

Emma and I were once again out on the bike.. after eating too many doodles and chocolate, we thought that a good ride to the lake was in order! So off we toddled.. or well pedalled! zoom zoom zoom!

Actually after a little mishap with the bike pump on my front tire.. you see Emma had some how managed to deflate instead of INflate my tire.. but it was a slight set back and we just made out like it was totally planned and she was just after a little arm work out before heading off to work the legs! Total workout! Make sense right? lol 

Now we pedalled! I am very tempted to make some bananas to go on the back of our bikes.. especially considering we seem to bike through Moo Moo Meadows! I must admit, I do love watching these beauties.. and it was quite amusing as we were biking away, I went "chomp chomp chomp" at them coz they were munching on the grass.. and a couple of them looked up at me.. prolly saying.. I'll chomp you in a minute!

We arrived at the lake and they had the jetty all out!
It's a floaty one so it is one that makes you feel all godly!

Out at the end of the jetty, there was a parent and their kidlet.. fishing.
Pretty awesome! One day I might just grow some balls & go fishing!
Actually it's not the fishing part, but more the walking on that bouncy jetty.
I only made it just past the second sign you see sticking out.. so not far.

Once back on solid ground, we headed to the kiddies swing set..
where Emma decided to have some fun..
so much fun in fact that it made her feel ill from going so fast!
This series of photos is her going from fun to fast..
Fast meaning.. she jumped off while exclaiming..
"It's too fast!"

It was awesome and sooo funny!
I got sore cheeks (facial) from laughing so much!

Back to the pedalling we went..

We are gonna need to get her new tyres soon if she keeps it up!

And that concludes our bike ride for the day.. its pretty nice to get out and about, even though the weather isn't the greatest. It was even spitting a touch too.. threatening to rain but it held off, which was rather nice of it! It really is the simple things in life that make it worthwhile. 

So it appears that I have not posted a smashing photo of myself lately.. and well, I can't have you all forgetting what I look like.. so here is a photo that I took yesterday.. while out biking! We had stopped to have a look at some sheep. Hold the kiwi jokes please. Main reason for the photo.. my hair was looking mucho awesomeo!

Oh my goodness.. now I feel like I need to add a photo of Nemo, coz then the whole family is in this blog and that is as it should be! So here I give you a darling photo of the old fella flopping along on a walk before we head off on a bike ride!

It makes him rather sad that he doesn't get to go, but we still haven't really decided if we want to fork out the dosh for a trailer for him to come along.. no doubt he will just bark. And they are quite heavy.

Anyways, this week marks the start of Emma's 4 day work weeks! From now until she is off in mid July, she will have every Friday off.. which will hopefully mean that we do something a little fun! Where we can take lots of pictures and force you to look at them! LOL Fingers crossed the weather plays ball!
