Eagle!

Apparently time not only flies when you are having fun.. but it also flies when you are not having fun. I have no idea where this month has gone.. I have no excuses as to why I haven't blogged.. I just haven't. *shrugs*

Last week marked the arrival of Eagle.. aka the iPad.
I named it Eagle.
I skinned Eagle.

Doesn't it just look.. choice!

It wasn't the 'best' fit.. actually to be honest I think its the worst fit of all the GelaSkins I have tried.. skinning the 3G was even a better fit. But in saying that.. a little hacking, sadly I'm not so good at the straight hacking.. especially when it is already ON the device lol.. anyways as I was saying, it was nothing a little hacking couldn't remedy.

The iPad is a lovely little toy.. however some of the prices that they charge for apps to go on it are.. in my opinion a little steep. I was saddened that the Words With Friends app was really poorly designed for the iPad and glad I only tested it with the free version.. it was deleted as fast as it was put on. 

Another thing that is really poorly designed is the app store.. seriously, I thought it sucked to look at on the iPhone but the iPad makes the iPhone look genius! Mind you I have never held Apple's app store or iTunes in high regard. I don't even like looking at it on the computer lol

At this stage we don't have too many apps on there.. but I'm sure that will all change as time goes on.. Emma is pretty darn good at grabbing apps. One app that I really do laugh my ass off at when we start using it, is the preloaded Photo Booth app.. Em and I now have many many many rather flattering photos of ourselves while playing with this.. there's even a couple of Nemo.. where he does actually have a poodle look going on! Anyways.. here's just one of the glorious photos of yours truly!

Ok moving on.. the weather has really picked up.. walking around we see many new signs of life.. just this morning I saw ducks chasing each other.. which gave me mixed emotions actually lol. We have had many blue skies and are even able to walk around in short sleeves! It is just pure bliss! One thing that isn't blissful is Nemo's sookie la la ass! We really need to get onto fixing up the balcony so I can kick him out there when he starts to cry.. he likes to watch all the people and things and keeps him rather content. Mind you he cries more when Emma is home than anything.. prolly coz Eagle gets more attention! hahaha

As I look over from writing this I see Nemo laying on the floor looking up at me with big sad eyes as if to say.. "can we go now?" so on that note I shall go and head off into the glorious day we have been graced with and walk him and hopefully make him just that little bit happier..
