Still Useless.

Looks like January is nearly over and I have barely even thought about blogging.. sometimes a gal just needs a break from thinking about stringing words together. Not really feeling the love in general.. for blogging.. for life.. for anything. The weather here doesn't make for a fun mood.

Luckily.. times are starting to brighten up.. piss off 4pm darkness! The days are starting to get longer and soon enough there will be no dirty snow outside.. and by soon enough I would say it is still a month away before that really happens, but we haven't had any real heavy snowfall which is nice.. it does keep threatening tho.

Lately however.. Em (she really is an awesome planner and researcher) and I have stepped up a gear in the Eurotrip planning stakes.. more so Emma but I have actually helped and it seems we have a pretty darn good plan of attack organised. I'm sure there will be plenty of well strung together words after that trip! If I make it back alive that is! Especially with Barcelona! Emma was reading this stack of info and giving me the bullet points.. so many pickpockets and scams! People slashing your tires at lights and then robbing you! Eeeek! There are even people who pose as cops and ask to see your ID and when you do.. they of course assault and  rob you!

Apparently it is good if you don't look or act too touristy.. not too sure how both Georg and I, and our ghostly white exterior is going to get away with not looking touristy.. fake tan perhaps? 

Ahhh should be fun all the same! What's life without a little danger right?

106 days until Georg & Mike arrive at our humble abode.. we really should get organised on planning the fun times of that part of their stay!

110 days until we head off to the first destination of Amsterdam! Early.. early start that day!

Then 30 days of pure Awesomesauce!

Sooo.. on Saturday, Em and I were watching Spartacus: Gods of the Arena and I cracked up laughing and blurted out "You're not in Guatemala now, Dr Ropata!" as soon as I saw Temuera Morrison on the screen, I had no idea he was gonna be in it.. hilarious! And also.. it turns out as soon as I hear a little bit of kiwi on a screen.. my own kiwi accent gets a touch stronger.. Awesomesauce.
