When I first came to Sweden you treated me like I was your new toy that Emma had kindly brought back from Australia! I loved it! You made my first few months in a strange new land liveable and less scary. I will miss you greatly.

Foodage!

Sandwich cake, cold cuts (ham & beef), 4 types of cheeses, crackers, sour dough bread (made by yours truly) with a walnut soft cheese spread (there was also a chili one), tomatoes and a root veg salad! NOM

Vanilla and Wild Strawberry Ice Cream with Smashed Fresh Strawberries, Lemon Meringue, Triple Chocolate Mousse, Dooley's Mocha Top and Tiramisu! There were also sugar cookies that Emma baked.. that go wickedly well with coffee! NOM

Pure NOM NOM NOM! Good birthday feast was had me thinks!

I love things in mini! Bite size FTW!

As much as I would love to eat this way every day.. I don't think my lovely figure would like it! Baahahaha

Now I am thinking a coffee and cookie is a good way to start the day! *pats belleh*

I have a 'new' phone again.

It's nice to live in the fast lane again..
my iPhone 3G was rather sluggish.. to say the least.

I need to buy a sleeve.. why are there so many bad sleeves? Do people not have taste or do I have too much taste and standards? Maybe all.. who really knows.. but what I do know is I HAVE to find one.. and actually buy it.

Today marks the first day of my new mission of taking one Hipstamatic print a day.. I must go out and find something to photograph! I have started a new blog for said photo's and it can be found here [click me]

So it seems the neighbours in the other buildings on either side of us are moving out.. or well one of them moved MONTHS ago and the painters have only just got in  and started work on it. But I noticed this morning that another place has become available over there too.. and then there are the 2 places that are now empty on the other side of us.. dear lord why can't the asshat neighbours of THIS building up and leave instead? I guess I'm just not that lucky.

However our apartment is starting to look a bit nicer.. and we are coming along with the framing and stuff.. will hopefully remember to do a little video entry of the spunkness once we get all the art up ON the walls instead of sitting around in their frames waiting to go up! Yea we rock it! It will however be all done and ready for the feastage on Saturday.. 

I haven't seen horsey lady around lately.. I'm scared that I may have missed my chance! Poobum!

OMFG! The phone saga continues!

Seriously.. I paid for a NEW phone.. I want a NEW phone! Dipshits.

Monday arvo we head in and they send the phone off... much to my disapproval but I had no say.

Extremely pissed off that I lose the new gelaskin that I had just put on too!

After Emma send off several emails about the situation, she headed back into the phone store to do something.. don't know the full story, however the stupid lady in there tried to say that we had had the phone for a month... nevermind the fact that a month ago there were NO iPhones even IN the country. So anyways.. the lady was going to follow things up and call her back the following day.. which would be Wednesday.. and surprise surprise she didn't call.

Didn't call all day Thursday either.. so after work, both of us headed in there to see what was happening. The lady didn't seem to recognise Emma or that she was meant to call back.. useless. Maybe if she spent more time on trying to be helpful instead of 'young' then things might run a bit smoother.. once again she tried to say that we had had the phone for a month blah blah blah.. how do they not have any fucking records?! Seriously!! I know when I worked in a phone store we had records and I could access anyone's records. Useless. So I went home and got the receipt and went and shoved it down her fucking eye sockets! Ok.. I didn't but I REALLY wanted to. She took a copy and said.. she will call back.. I wont hold my breath. I really just want it all over with... is that too much to ask? Is it really to much to ask that I get a new phone when I have paid for a new phone.. it isn't even like it's a small purchase either.

I hate dealing with people. This time I was less than polite about anything.. I wanted to clock her but that would just get me arrested... that wouldn't be a good thing and would more than likely hinder my citizenship application... oh who am I kidding! Sweden wants me! Can't blame it.. I'm quite awesome! 

Thank goodness it's Friday! YaY! for weekends! 

oh and YaY! for the Pumpkin Cheesecake Em & I made last night to enjoy tonight!! Can't wait! Nom!

Update #1.0.

Finally on Friday my iPhone arrived!

However.. the account wasn't going to change over until Wednesday-ish this week, so I was left with a phone that I couldn't really use as a phone.. glorified iPod touch it seems. My excitement over getting a new phone was short lived.

Then last night, I try to take a photo using the flash and discover that I indeed have a FAULTY iPhone. Emma thinks the flash is leaking light or something.. so this afternoon off we toddle to the phone store to see what the next step is.. prolly wait another 6 weeks for a new one knowing my luck.

Very short lived excitement.

I think I officially regret upgrading.

Although.. playing scrabble on the new phone is rather smooooooth.. but doesn't play so nice with the multi-tasking, especially the free version of scrabble.. or well Words With Friends.

I'm getting off track.

I discovered just how small a town I live in!

Emma was at a family birthday dinner thingeemebob and what one does at those things is chatter.
I wasn't there so I don't know just how it came up.. but it came up..

Update #2.1.

Horse lady has a name!

Well.. of course she does.. but we actually know her name now.. and her age!

She is homeless.. and will prolly hang around this town for about a year before moving on. Her name is Bella (could totally be a horse name right?) and she is 52.. she looks much older.

I still don't have a photo and I have not seen her this weekend.

Update #3.0.

I put my sandals away yesterday.

So that means officially it is no longer 'summer' for me.

It was a sad day... but there was some happiness.. see next part of update.

I re-discovered a pair of shoes of mine that are pure funk.

I get to wear them.

Hopefully they wont hurt my feet.. too much.

Emma found some black vinyl pants and tried them on.

She totally pulled them off.. as in could wear them in public. 

I thought she should wear them to work. 

She did not.

They were put away in storage.. again.
