Winter is Gone!

That's right folks, Winter has decided that it would depart for us and Spring has officially been announced by those that serve as slaves to the weather gods. To celebrate, we headed out to the swamps for a lookie-lu. We saw a few mounds of snow dregs, dirty gross looking stuff but all in all it was lovely. There were so many swans.. SO MANY! There was even a half eaten one, sadness. But that is the reality of nature, I guess. Here is a few photos.. of nature, not half eaten dead things.

This month has not given me much and it has basically gone flying on by.. I am not entirely sure where the time actually goes, but it must mean I am having fun! Some kind of fun anyway.. Emma had the most fun yesterday, I was on the potty and she was in the kitchen when I heard a crash from total silence, it took me a minute to ask if everything was ok and it turned out that she just fell, kinda outta nowhere! She said she went to slide left along the bench and it was all over red rover! So damn funny! We could help but chuckle at it all day and then all night, it was the last thing I chuckled at before I headed into Zzzzland. We have had some pretty stella falls/accidents in our time.. the very first was way back in Melbourne, walking hand in hand when I hit an uneven part of the side-walk and I start to go down and you'd think coz we were holding hands that Emma would just give me a tug and help keep me upright.. but no! She just gracefully lets go. I have never let her live this down. Now while I didn't witness her fall, I heard it and that is just as hilarious. A little like that time when Hank biked into the sign in Copenhagen. Now these things are only hilarious coz noone was seriously injured (altho, I still laugh about when I fell and stuffed my ankle and that was pretty serious) and I fall so much that it is nice to share the love! I mean heck, back in my school days I even fell down an escalator! Yep, I am THAT person!

I am also the person who bakes a mini doughnut and then turns it into a monocle! You're welcome!
