Time Flies!

Time sure does fly on past with a new little man in the house! I am not quite sure where it all goes, it certainly doesn't go on sleep!

This past week was a big week for us, out and about pretty much every day doing something. Julius continues to grow and we know this by his, currently, weekly check up with the district nurse. He hit a big 50cm and 3.3kg on Wednesday. He certainly grows well! Then on Thursday with the neonatal check up and vaccination, he was up another 100g! Big strong healthy boy! It's hard to remember how fragile (but still quite healthy) he was back when he was born. He has a great double chin and everything now and wrist rolls! 

He didn't overly enjoy his vaccinations, one in each leg. The neonatal nurses tag teamed him. He screamed for all of a few seconds, coz he's tough. He is my son after all! haha

Then to add insult to injury, we had to head over to the eye doctor, where we got to have the final eye test done. We had to have one more coz he was a whole freaken day short of 37 weeks on the last exam. So stupid. But it is done now, and his eyes are fine so that is all that matters.

and also the cutest furry dude in my life.. who is all like.. oh noes! I can't reach my doggie!

He often likes to push things off the couch and have you pick them up again for him.

We are definitely looking forward to being able to do more than short walks and hanging out at home with him but for now, we are quite content with getting used to this whole parenting thing at home.. especially with how much the little dude likes to eat.
